• The Department of Computer Science and Engineering presently offers Under-graduate study program leading to the degree of Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science and Engineering. The present intake is 60 students per year.

• The department’s mission is to advance, evolve and enhance computer science & engineering fundamentals to build the intellectual capital of research in students.,

• The students are focused with the use of conceptual understanding of core domain areas in Computing as well as enhanced programming skills disseminating their analytical abilities. Our aim is to provide our students the lifelong learning and leadership skills that enable them to grow in their professions and advance to positions of responsibility by effective Industry-Institute Interaction.

• State of the art computing facilities with licensed softwares

• Full integrated network. Campus is fully wifi and all the machines on LAN / WiFi are interconnected thus provide seamless connectivity.

• 2 MBPs 1:1 dedicated leased line which provides round the clock internet connectivity.

• Department developed and maintain OPJIT Intranet , a teaching / learning facilitation tool and acts as a reservoid of knowledge.

• Well qualified and sincere faculty with an inclination towards Programming and Research activities.

• MSDN Academic alliance for campus software licensing.

• Last year ( 2009-10) Published 2 papers in International Conferences and one paper in International Journal.
